About Us
Our services provide a continuum of care for individuals who require low to moderate support for their mental health needs as well as a dementia memory care unit.
The Mirage Unit – designed for residents with a combination of dementia and a psychiatric diagnosis
- Caregivers are trained in handling the behaviors and symptoms that accompany such diagnosis
- Residents may present with wandering, pacing, refusing or combativeness with care, as verbally abusive, or difficulty with redirection
The Sahara Unit – is intended for residents with a psychiatric diagnosis that requires a secure setting and added behavioral health care. These residents may present as:
- Elopement or AWOL risk
- Verbal abuse
- Make repetitive statements or behaviors
- Non-compliance with care and other moderate behaviors
The Oasis Unit – is an unsecured behaviorally supported unit. These residents are not elopement risks but may still present with similar symptoms as the Sahara Unit
